Dropping the fire on the Mallet. The high pressure cylinder in prominent, fixed to the rigid section of frame. Ahead is the rear driver of the leading low pressure power unit, the frame painted red in the photo.

Side view of the Mallet clearly shows the difference in size between the leading low pressure cylinders and the rear high pressure cylinders. Also clear is the leading articulated truck and the rigid rear frame. Note the accessible injector below the cabside.
