The loco was saved for preservation by the late Peter Rampton and stored at a farm in Surrey for many years along with many other rare and interesting narrow gauge locomotives. This photo shows it in the Surrey farm building. The collection has now been moved to new locations, mainly Aberystwyth. The loco is in unrestored condition but complete.
