Was never owned by Heber Valley Railroad. Was donated c. 1958 to the Sons of Utah Pioneers; collection moved to Heber in 1979. Later acquired by the Wasatch Mountain Railway (Heber Creeper) who completed the sale to the State of Nevada in 1993.

Use to be owned by the Heber Valley Railroad. Whistle was also used for sister 618 which is being converted to burn oil.
