In 2002 the locomotive was based, along with sister O&K 2643/1912, in the town of Beni Enzar, in the Province of Nador Province, Oriental, Morocco, the location being 12km north of Nador and bordered by the Spanish enclave of Melilla on the Meditteranean coast.
