JS Class 2-8-2 JS 8211, which was built at Datong Works in 1987 had worked on China Rail round Kaiyuan until 1989, it then went to Tonghua where it worked until 1994. JS 8211 today is preserved and is located on display the Da’an Locomotive Expo Park at Da’an Bei in Jilin, Northeast China.
