like all fireless steam locomotives, this is capable of using compressed air as well

From the plaque ajacent to the locomotive: Built in 1930 by the H.K Porter Co., Pittsburgh, PA. The original owner was the Huron Milling Co., Harbor Beach, MI. Sold in 1947 to The Connecticut Coke Co. and used at that company's plant in New Haven, CT. In use hauling freight around the plant yard untill 1960. Last steam locomotive in CT. to operate in regular freight service. It has 20"x13" cylinders, 34" diameter wheels, runs on standard guage tracks and weighs 35 tons. It was restored by the Valley Railroad, with the Westbrook Factory Outlet Stores underwriting the project. Painted as "CONNECTICUT COKE CORP.", #3. Located at the Westbrook Factory Outlet Center, just off Interstate I95, Westbrook, CT.
