This engine is not available to haul off for free or for sale per conversations I have had with the Mayor and City Manager of Kinsley, Kansas

I stopped and saw this locomotive on 7/28/04.

It still has the boiler jacket on so rust is creeping in and creatures are making homes in many of its openings, but I was impressed with the condition of the cab.  Most of the gauges and valves were there, no big vandalism or damage.
