The Alder Gulch just finished it's fourth season of operation with the No. 12. Ridership has grown substantially each year, despite the threat of forest fires which occasionally shut down operation. More recent photos are available at http://aldergulch.com.

Just returned from Alder ,Mt and did see #12 run..Who ever rebuilt this engine did A super job.We did take pictures inside the cab and out side. You must update the photo on this site to do good to this engine..It looks just as good as the Milwaukee #261 A 4-8-4............

No. 12 is now at the Alder Gulch Shortline Railroad of Virginia City, Montana. It is operational.
