Built as the U 6 for the Lower Austrian State Railway (NÖLB) and used on their Waldviertelbahn. Later with the ÖBB it was driven on various narrow-gauge lines, most recently on the Steyrtalbahn, which was closed in 1982. Purchased by Club 760 in 1982 and, after a general inspection at HW Knittelfeld, used on the Taurachbahn from July 1989. After another general inspection in 2001, it returned to Mauterndorf, where it was used again on the Taurachbahn. Then it was loaned to the market town of Stainz, where it transported the “Flascherlzug” in 2011 and 2012. Refurbished in the Zillertalbahn workshop between 2016 and 2017 and is ready for operation. In 2017, the locomotive was christened “Mariapfarr” as part of the celebrations “30 years of the concession at Mariapfarr station.
