After being in BBÖ service for seven years from delivery, passed successively into DRB hands as No. 93.1455 (1938 - 1945); ÖStB (1945 - 1953) and ÖBB (1953 - 1978) prior tostoreage and preservation by the ÖGEG.

Locomotive 378.32 features many times in the film "Liebesgrusse aus der Lederhose part 4" (a comedy film with some nudity) made in the 1970s. It might be possible to create a series of clips to just show the loc in use.
