This engine has a replica of itself in Gretna, Nebraska at Vala's Pumpkin Patch and runs during the pumpkin patch is open and it is motorized but it still is great and its name is the"Ernest J. Vala"and pulls four coaches and one caboose if the people who make this website want to put it on the Nebraska list and just get my dads e-mail address and I'll gladly get a shot of it and it's powered by diesel fuel.

The replaca Jupiter was created at the same time as UP119.  Jupiter was a fuel oil fired locomotive when it was put into service in 1979 and changed to wood in the mid-1990s when oil was deemed to be environmentally harmful.  Jupiter has 64 inch Drivers, She operates at 120-145 lbs of boiler pressure.  14 tons of tractive effort.  32,000 lbs on the drivers, and the original Jupiter was designed for passenger service.  I have fired this locomotive at Golden Spike National Historic Site.
