#91 just got her tires replaced this week as the old ones were devolping flat spots.

Check on the tractive effort for this engine. 43,600 is too high. Heisler #6 at Cass is only shown as having 22,650 lbs. of t.e. The dimensions of these 2 engines are nearly identical aside from the 91 being superheated and having piston valves.

The #91 just had its tubes replaced (Aug 2003) and we are waiting for the superheater tubes to arrive. Once the superheater tubes are installed, it will be hydro-tested and ready to run.
