as of 2024 status should be derelict. the locomotive is in a yard behind some tanker cars.

This is actually Henschel & Sohn 19456/1922 (19457 is NOT extant) that was originally FCP No. 5. Only in the early 1950s did it become RFIRT, later being plinthed in Rio Gallegos minus crane!

The loco was built as a crane tank locomotive and the remains of the supporting structure for the crane can be seen in the photo, straddling the boiler.
