Ownership History: Built as #17 for Union Colliery Railway, Union Bay, BC in 1891. Name changed in 1899 to Wellington Colliery Railway. Corporate sale in 1910 to Canadian Collieries (Dunsmuir) Ltd. The locomotive was sold in 1960 to the Puget Sound Railway Historical Association (Puget Sound & Snoqualmie Valley RR). The PSRHA and the PS&SVRR were both renamed the Northwest Railway Museum in 1997. Also, I made two mistakes in my last note. The tractive effort is 27,000, not 25,000. The locomotive last operated in 1968, and was retired after failing a state boiler inspection early the next year. I'm still researching the weight on the drivers.
