I believe the locomotive is on display at the depot in Pullman, W.A., however I am still trying to confirm that.

Locomotive has been moved to an unknown location. It left about 2 years ago via truck.

I recently talked with one of the workers at Camp 6, and basically received a complete narrated tour of the whole museum (don't forget to ask them about the old OR&N side-door caboose turned-flatcar in their collection). During the tour, I learned that this locomotive, ASARCO #4, was supposed to already have been picked-up by its owner, & taken to who-knows-where. However, the owner had not yet done so, and I learned that if the locomotive was not moved soon, Camp 6 would claim title to #4, giving itself yet another restoration project, one that would actually cost more than the restoration of their Shay, #7; #4 needs a new boiler. You know what means; lots of digging for $$$$$. All I can say is: BEST OF LUCK TO #4!

This locomotive never belonged to the NRHS. It was purchased by Ken Johnson in 1986 and has been stored at the Western Forest Industries Museum (Camp 6)in Tacmoa.s Point Defience Park every since.
