Hunslet 1643/1928 was built for Haifa Harbour Works Palestine and was later returned to the UK for use by the War Department. Hunslet built six standard-gauge 0-6-0STs for the FC del Sur: no 46 (1495/1927). no. 44 (1651/1930), no. 45 (1652/1930), no. 43 (1876/1938), no. 43 (3507/1948) and no. 40 (3690/1950).
