Does anyone know where this is located. It belonged originally to my great great grandfather H.A. Richardson and I would love to see it in person.

Locomotive no longer affiliated with Nevada County Narrow-Gauge Museum. Currently in private ownership elsewhere in California.

This engine was left to the us, the Nevada Country Narrow Gauge, in Mr. Wilmunder's will. It was just moved to our museum in Nevada City, CA. Please update.

Question-Does anyone know if the Prather, CA location in the ownership post is the Prather in Fresno County? I live near there and would like to find out if there was any narrow gauge in the area. Thanks

This locomotive was located at the Billy Jones Ranch in Los Gatos, CA where a group was restoring it in the 50s.  The ranch was also home to 18" gauge Venice Railway #2 which ran on Jones' Wildcat Railroad.  The Overfair Railway equipment as well as John Knowles Co. "Gwen" was also there at one point.  Jim and Dick Holmes later started the 15" gauge Glenwood Southpark & Pacific Railway near the summit.
