According to Wikipedia, this loco never got to NC. It was sold to Discovery Park America, Union City, TN.

According to a recent Tweet, the Great Smoky Valley Railroad has purchased this locomotive and is planning to move it to Tennessee for ultimate operational restoration.

Status should be changed to stored as there are some mechanical issues that the FRA has found with it that need to be resolved before it can operate again.

This locomotive, along with other equipment from the Belfast & Moosehead Lake operation is currently for sale.
