We spoke to the engineers driving this locomotive on Oct. 3, 2004. The boiler pressure is set to 180 psi. The fuel is propane. The locomotive consumes 20 lbs/hr. For a typical 20 min excursion they use 80 gal of water. The locomotive is not simply turned off at night, but brought inside for maintenance.
