14 has not steamed since 1998. The smoke coming from its stack in the 2003 photos (and since that time) have been from smoke bombs - these were taken during the annual Railfan Weekend in September.

Acutally Mike Huff, 14 would need some work to be fired up again. She is currently on display inside the museum.

Commenting on the bottommost note. Yes, the engine was used in Iron Will! At first it stayed in the same paint but was change to be Carnival Sled Dog Races/ Great Northern #807 later on.

If 14 is unservicable then why is there smoke exiting the stack in the September 7 2003 photo?

i think this locomotive was used in the movie iron will. if it was it was disguised as a great northern.
