The "Alco-Schenectady Construction Number List" indicates that Construction Numbers 53134 through 53138, Road Numbers 733 through 737, were shipped to the "Minneapolis, St. Paul & Sault Ste. Marie" in April of 1913. All of the units were 4-6-2's with a "Specified" empty weight of 259,000 pounds (This is not necessarily the "Actual" empty weight).

Reports are that as of July, 2004 the asbestos has successfully been removed from the locomotive. Let's hope the City of Minot decides to spend some omney to repaint it and make it a presentable display.

Wes Barris' steamlocomotive.com page reports that this locomotive is in danger of being scrapped.
