Delivered to the NOLB in 1908 as their No. Mh.5 , retaining that identity in BBÖ (1922 - 1938) whence it became DRB No. 99 1115 (1938 - 1945), then ÖStB (1945 - 1953). The ÖBB inherited this locomotive in 1953 as their No. 399.05, which also ran as No. 399.005. The ÖBB inherited this locomotive in 1953 as their No. 399.05, the identity it retained when purchased by the ÖGEG fleet at Sommerhubermühlein (Steyrtalbahn) in 2009. Currentlty awaiting restoration.

In 2009 the locomotive has been sold to the Austrain Society for Railway History (Oegeg) and has been transferred to the societies own narrow gauge heritage line - The Steyrtalbahn. The loco is scheduled for long term restauration, but is not on the priority list.
