Locomotive has been painted and moved from park to Pauls Valley Depot. Can be viewed from Amtrak's Heartland Flyer.

Most of the 1950 class (1950-1991) worked in California at one time or another. Built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1907, they were used in general freight service both on the Los Angeles and Valley service divisions until bumped aside by the more powerful 2-8-2 and 2-10-2 types. most of them ended their days on locals and yard service. All but No.1951 were scrapped by 1955.
