The Alan Keef Ltd. owned 1990 built De Winton 0-4-0VBT Works No. 30 "Taffy", could be relocating to a new home as Alan Keef Ltd, Ross on Wye site which has built a number of new-build narrow gauge steam locomotives and carried out overhauls is to close as the site will be demolished for new homes to be built on the site and they are now no longer building locomotives as instead Alan Keef Ltd will now focus on developing its trackwork and consultancy bussinesses. A new partership with The Steam Workshop in Leeds in West Yorkshire will be used to fufil orders for rolling stock and equipment. It could be that No. 30 "Taffy" is relocating to The Steam Workshop in Leeds in West Yorkshire?

This little loco follows the style of the De Winton vertical boilered locos of the 19th century, and was built using some parts of the Penmaenmawr Quarry loco 'Penmaen' the frames and boiler of which still exist.
