The building of this new steam locomotive started at Kew Bridge Steam Museum. Some parts, including the frames were sent to Statfold Barn who completed the building of the loco while the Kew Bridge Museum was being refurbished. This loco ran the first train on the Hampton & Kempton Waterworks Railway in May 2013. Now it is the operating steam locomotive at Kew Bridge. Runs most weekends on the 400 yard track. The museum has an impressive collection of stationary steam pumping engines. These are also operate on special days. So worth checking what is on, before visiting.
